I came to the top of Ninoshima on a beautiful afternoon. I took the ferry from the Hiroshima ferry port and arrived at the Western port of Ninoshima (I don't know the name). After getting off the ferry, head North along the road and you will see an obvious sign for the start of the hike. You must walk down a narrow alley which eventually turns into a steeply inclining path. The trail to the top of the mountain is easy to follow. I got frightened during the section which passes through the bamboo forest - there were strange noises in that area. From the top of the peak, there is a great view of Hiroshima and the surrounding islands! It took me about an hour to reach the top, and about 30-40 minutes to come down.

2023/3/29　ミモザ群生地を見に来ました。似島港からの直登コースで約1時間あれば登れます。途中斜度のきついところもあります。マップにも展望台コースが一番登りやすいと書いてありましたが、往復最短コースだったので他のコースがどうなのかはわかりません。山頂には航空保安施設と書いてありましたがアンテナがあるので少し邪魔ですが(^_^;)、展望は素晴らしかったです。宇品の景色を見て思わず「近っ！」と声が出るくらい近く見えました。丁寧な案内板があり勉強になりました。呉方面から遠くは四国 石鎚山も見ることができます。瀬戸内海ならではの多島美が素晴らしいです　山頂からマップにはなかったですが、宇品方面直下に降りる「じゃんぐるくだり」と看板があったのが気になりました。

Takes about an hour from the Ferry port to reach the top. Tourist information can point you in the right direction to find the start. There is also route guidance on all trails. Great views however the path is...
