Oiwa Shrine — Attraction in Hitachi

私は初めて御岩神社に来ました、第一駐車場へ車を止めて、御岩神社の社務所に来たところ、女性4人組の人が、テントの椅子に腰かけていました、私が神社まであと、どのくらいで行けるか、聞いたらすぐそこよ、と言われ、あなたここへ来たら山頂まで行かないと、ご利益がないわよ、と言われまして私も山頂まで一緒について行きました、ついて行ったのはいいのですが、途中で息切れ、私だけ途中で休憩、先に行ってもらいました、しばらくして、歩きました、ようやく山頂にたどり着き、休んでいると、親子連れの4人、子供たちは元気そのもので、みんなで、山頂の景観を堪能しました、それから、帰り道に、御岩神社参拝、ここまで来るのに、足が思う用に動かせません、フラフラでした、こんな体験したのは、久しぶりでした、このあとに、社務所によつて御岩神社の木せいの御札をもらって、帰ってきました、御岩神社の近辺はとっても涼しかった です、なんか、威厳のある神社だなあ～と感じて来ました。 ...

What a wonderful place right in the middle of the forest with fantastic old trees.

The shrines are located in a magical place that we visited during the week and we were lucky not many people were there at the same time. For the most part we were able to be just the two of us surrounded by nature and by the sound of water.

It took us around an hour and half to reach the summit and back to the car park n°2.

This is definitely a place I would highly recommend even if you come from Tokyo. On top of that we did not even have to pay...

Pretty walk in the woods to this shrine. Giant cedar trees. Perfect spot for some “forest bathing.” 3 free parking areas. Some bees. Can receive temple stamp (goshuin) during their office hours 9-5:30. Navigation systems do not work well in this area, no service or one bar. Overshot the shrine, initially and got directions from some workers at another park?leisure grounds? The giveaway that the attraction is here are the two free parking lots on opposite sides of the road, as shrine is not obvious...
