金沢の忍者寺のベースにもなった屋敷です。 屋敷と言うより、前田家の隠し要塞だと説明で分かります。随所に掛け軸裏の隠し部屋や、廊下と部屋がよく見ると襖を外せば一室になったり仕掛けや工夫がありました。しかも、江戸時代からそのまんま、残っています。　金沢の観光地化した寺や屋敷も大変賑やかだけど金沢から遠いだけで、価値はこちらにあるような気がします。米倉も重要文化財でしたが、俵の重さで底が抜けて改装した為文化財から外されたそうですが、米倉を改造して、都会にあるような博物館になっちゃってます。 なんでここにってくらい立派でした。 喜多家はあの、新田義貞の三男の末裔が、こちらに移住したのが始まりみたいです。 それと、おじいちゃんおばあちゃん夫婦がめっちゃ丁寧に説明してくれます。

石川旅行に来たのであれば訪れるべき場所の１つとして推薦したいです。 こちらに昭和62年までお住まいになっていらした方が、ガイドをしてくださいました。 前田家の陣屋として唯一建造を指示されたお屋敷で、徳川家を刺激しないよう周りを木で囲み、かつ地面を掘った上に建造されたとのこと。 商人、武士、お殿様が使用する部屋や玄関のつくりの違いや、屋根が2種類に分けて作られている理由、玄関のつくり方による階級社会の構図などすごく勉強になり楽しかったです。 電車でも行くことのできる場所なので足をのばしてみる価値はあると思います。

入場料500円。ちょろっと見て終わりな感じかなと思ったらガイドさんが説明してくれる方式で、体験が何倍も良いものになった。 加賀藩と江戸幕府の関係や、十村役の説明、建物がその建築になっている理由など知ることはたくさんあった。 ちゃんとそのあとフリーの写真タイムがあるのも◎ これだけ緑がキレイで美しく手入れされていたら、写真も撮りたくなる。 蔵が博物館になっていて、ゆかりのものを見ることも出来る。もちろんトイレキレイ。
