Mizugaki-sansou — Attraction in Hokuto

I post this information on comments hopping that it will help others. On August 6, 2023 I had a chance to hike Mt. Mizugaki which is one of the 100 famous mountains (Hyakumeizan) of Japan. I am glad I made my 15th Hyakumeizan. The weather was beautiful. Trailhead is Mizugaki Sanso. I went there by car from Yokohama. It usually takes 2,5 hours but it took about 3,5 hrs with breaks. There is about 100 free parking lots. There is a cafe, bathroom and a resting area. The closest convenience store is about 25-30 min away. Be prepared in advance. The hike was one of the most challenging ones although the forms say it is beginner or intermediate level. It is rocky and sharp ascending path. You need to take a break more than usual. the rocks kill your muscles and slow you down. Fujimidaira takes about 50 min. There is a mountain hot and tent camping areas. Bathroom, drinks, small restaurant is available. There is a place just before fujimidaira where you can fill your water bottle. After 20 min you will reach a creek. The water was very cold and refreshing. It took 3 hrs to make the peak. Last 40-50 minutes part is very steep and dangerous. 360 degree spectacular views welcomes you and you forgot all the hustle. After 30 min break I started descending. 715 meters altitude change and 5.8 km round trip path. I arrived the parking lot after 5 hrs. It was surprising to see many people including very old people on the way. Overall I was very happy to check off one more mountain on my list :) Recommendations: Suitable shoes for rocky path. Suitable gloves as you will use your hands a lot. Walking sticks might help sometimes. A couple changing clothes would be helpful. You will...

バス停が目の前です。お風呂があります。夕食、朝食ともにごはんのおかわり自由です。ごはんの品数も十分。ローストビーフが出ましたが非常に美味しかったです。部屋は５人部屋で、相部屋になりますが、。ご家族であれば貸し切りになるでしょう。夕飯も部屋単位で食べるので、まるで部活のような雰囲気です。私の部屋は単独行4人で全員がソロ！話も弾みました。今まで言った百名山の話をしたりと、楽しかったです。 入口にはビールの自動販売機がありでこれまた特に高くない（ロング缶が500円程度）。非常に恵まれたしっかりとした山荘だと思います。最初の山荘デビューにもおすすめです。水も飲めるし、水を汲んでいっても良いし、お風呂で体もしっかり洗えて、いうことありません。 金峰山に登るとき、荷物が多すぎて軽量化のためにデポジットさせて頂きましたが、無料で対応頂きました。１４時頃取りに戻り、無事に回収。瑞牆山も金峰山も登りましたが、もう一度行きたいなと思...

瑞牆山登山の際にお世話になりました。 瑞牆山荘さんはあくまで山小屋なので、山小屋としての感想になります

部屋：シンプルですが、個室でゆっくりと休めるので申し分ありません 食事：夕食のローストビーフ、早出のためお弁当にして戴いた朝食のおにぎり、下山後ランチに戴いたハンバーグ、どれも素晴らしかったです。食事に関しては山小屋のレベルではなく、街で食べても十分に美味しいと思います お風呂：山小屋ですがお風呂があります！小屋の規模としては広いですし、温泉ではないですが水が良いからか、大変気持ちの良いお風呂でした
