Honbetsu Park — Attraction in Honbetsu

Our visit to Honbetsu Park in Honbetsu, Hokkaido was a relaxing and pleasant experience for the whole family. The park is spacious and beautifully maintained, with large open areas, walking paths, and plenty of greenery. We enjoyed strolling around and watching the seasonal scenery — during our visit, the trees were showing lovely autumn colors, creating a calm and picturesque atmosphere.

There’s a playground for kids, sports facilities like go karts, and even a small pond where ducks often gather, which made the place lively yet peaceful. From certain spots, we could see nice views of the surrounding town and hills. It’s easy to see that this park is an important community space where locals come to relax, exercise, and spend time together. Honbetsu Park may not be a major tourist attraction, but it’s a perfect stop if you want to experience the simple charm of local life...

dropped by honbetsu park and surprised to find out that today, 28 November it is closed. you can still walk around just that the fishes are in hibernation, the gokarts are closed.

一年ぐらい前に遊びに行って子供達も喜んでたので再園しました。 子供達が楽しみにしていた交通公園にあるゴーカート。子供が一人で乗る条件が身長140センチ以上で小学校４年生以上とのことで子供が基準をクリアーしているにも関わらず大谷という親父が曲者で靴を脱いだら140センチないな！といって子供にゴーカートを乗らせない。しまいには交通ルールが分からないから乗せれない。と言い始めた。 小学生で交通ルールが大人と同じぐらい知識ある人は皆無に等しいような…自動車学校に行って改めて知る事もあるルールなのではないでしょうか？ ルールを守らせるためだからとか言って正論をはいていたけど、楽しみにしていた子供の気持ちを踏みにじるような発言や子供にたいして上から圧を掛ける言い方はどうなんだろう。何も考えない冷酷な人物でした。 子供が一人で乗る条件に、小学校四年生以上で、身長140センチ以上、交通ルールが分かる人って記載していれば良いのでは？ 子供連れが行く場所には反している場所だと思いました。他にはボートとか遊具がある楽しい公園で良...
