Despite the rain, my visit to the Skeluccha Viewing Deck was an unforgettable experience. The columnar rock formation was amazing to behold - its sheer scale and natural beauty left me stunned. The sea was a brilliant blue, and its serenity was only enhanced by the rain. But what made my day were the numerous dragonflies flitting about, adding a touch of magic to the already enchanting atmosphere. The viewing deck was well-designed and offered stunning views of the rock formations and the sea. The rain didn't dampen my spirits, and I could fully appreciate the natural beauty of Skeluccha. If you're looking for a unique and breathtaking experience, Skeluccha Viewing Deck is a must-visit. Don't let the rain deter you - it might add to the charm!

Lots of parking and facilities and some really nice neutered cats greeted us (they had clipped ears) as it was around their feeding time. The white cat had lots of faeces around its tail and its tail looked a little limp, I hope someone can take care of it, I tried to wipe off but the cat kept squirming away (I help to trap, neuter and return in Australia). Lookout was a lot of fun and the views were terrific. Would highly recommend. Also nice friendly cats.

I had a truly enchanting experience at the Skeluccha Viewing Deck! Despite the drizzle, the atmosphere was mesmerizing. The highlight was spotting numerous dragonflies flying overhead - it was a delightful sight! The glass bridge was an added thrill, offering breathtaking views. The entire experience was nothing short of magical. If you're looking for a unique and awe-inspiring experience, Skeluccha Viewing Deck is a must-visit. 5/5 stars!"

This place is called “largest columnar rocks in Japan”. For those interested in rock formation, this is a nice place to visit. The columnar rocks can only be viewed from the top, but smaller ones can be seen on the way via trekking. Going there is a good exercise and you can observe abundant trees. Nicely preserved with a good view of the vast ocean.

I visited it on my way back to Miyazaki after Takachiho Gorge. The spectacular view of the sea from above was very beautiful. Personally, I was more impressed by it than by Takachiho Gorge, which I visited on the same day. The walkway leading to the lighthouse was also beautiful. Definitely worth a visit.

New glass floor viewing deck and gives a better view of the rock formation below. A 400m walk from the carpark to the viewing area. There are other things to see long the trail but this one is the main attraction. There’s a weight limit for the glass so please be careful!
