I visited this attraction by accident and was charged 370 yen on exit, although there was no clear indication that it was a paid area on the entrance. I was coming down from a hike to the Kaimon mountain and simply continued along the sidewalk, which led onto what turned out to be an ordinary road. There wasn’t much of interest along the way. At the end, there appeared to be some sort of horses, but overall, I didn’t find the experience worthwhile.
While the staff member at the exit was very polite and professional, I believe it’s important to inform visitors in advance that this is a paid road. Read moreI thought this was the ring road around the volcano, and when we paid at the booth I thought it was for a road toll. Unfortunately it's actually its own park, so we wasted ¥750. The park isn't very good either. All the facilities seem shut. There's also access to a golf course. The highlight was the small horse with foals, and a Japanese badger that crossed the road. Some nice views as well, but overall we just drove around for 20 minutes.
