It is the house of Yasuzaemon matsunaga, the founder of Private Kyusho electric company (1910). he was a smart guy with little bit scary face, which is just his way of being serious. he had broad mind of capitalism. he gathered private electric companies to establish the power of free market in energy sector which at that time was a state companies. he had strong prospective viewing of modern Japan. It was a say that he learned english by himself. he also contributed in promoting translation of word history and knowledge to Japanese. He refused to receive any award that been given to him, saying that he did nothing. he was respected by Government despite the fact that they are in different ways. Emperor honored honey him with imperial silverware. In his will he refused to have any funeral. and he gave his wealth public service. he died at age of 96.

Yasuzaemon Matsunaga, "ogre of electricity" Yasuzaemon Matsunaga (1875-1971) was an Iki native who contributed to Japan's electrification from the Meiji to Showa periods, thereby laying the loundation for the country's industrial and economic development.
