Driving across was a pretty cool experience, the bridge was not only spectacular but was so easy to drive across, take care though I did see an unmarked police car pull someone over, plenty of photos and videos can be taken by passengers whilst driving over this...

安全悠閑、景致優美的自行車專用道，絕不能錯過！

我們一行4位女士也嘗試騎自行車, 由今治出發, 遊覽來島海峽大橋。

我們由松山坐一小時JR 火車到達波止浜駅, 再步行約25分鐘往Sunrise 糸山 (サンライズ糸山, Sunrise Itoyama bike rental) 租車。Sunrise 糸山正前方就是來島海峽大橋, 景觀優美, 單車日租皆附安全帽, 可選環島型單車(cross bike), 有24段變速桿(24 step gear), 適合長時間騎乘；亦可選其他可變速單車；若能在同一個租車處關門前還車, 按金可退回, 幸好仍是9月底, 我們有較長騎車時間。

全長約80公里的著名自行車道"島波海道", 都有"藍線"做引導, 由今治租車起點開始, 已需要爬坡, 詳情可參考海拔圖, 但因是行人和自行車的專用道, 體力不繼者或不太能爬坡者亦可推車, 因此騎得安全自在。

當天天朗氣清, 瀨戶內海及來島海峽大橋的景致美極了, 而且騎車者亦不算多, 真是悠閑的鐵馬之旅。到達大島後, 右轉可往長浜海岸, 那是一條美麗的海邊漁村, 環境恬靜純樸, 沿岸均是日式建築的民居。另一邊方向則可往道之駅休息處, 有餐廳及商店, 那裏的海膽及三文魚子飯非常新鮮好吃, 而紀念品商店有不同的土產手信, 亦有今治毛巾、島波海道紀念T恤及毛巾等等, 幸好我們都有輕便騎車背包, 可背著手信及紀念品回程。
