My review: Day of visit 22 Jul 25 ~ opening 0900 Nice little quick visit. Some could spend a few minutes there or longer to embrace the beauty. On entry, there are workers there to assist with ticket purchases as needed and guards to assist as well. Felt nice and secure. Elevator up to observation deck. There was a great view of the paddy fields and Mt. IWATE.
There are nice clear panels for the kids to look through safely, very thoughtful. Information sign included the types of rice. It was very nice to see. If you utilize the stairs down it can be steep, proceed with caution depending on your age. There is only one elevator. As we exited stairs, we were guided to a viewing area/gallery of past rice paddy field art which was beautiful to see.
Upon exiting, I saw a sign that there was a free foot onsen, which was right next to the paddy fields and in the parking lot we utilized. It felt so nice and my feet felt so soft afterward.
Reccomend a visit. Website/information states when are the best optimal times to visit, as well as live photos everyday to help plan!

Each location has its own observation tower with a 300¥...
Read moreThere are 2 fields. But we only went to the first one. Starting from mid July is the new time to visit. The little exhibit of the past field arts is very interesting to see. I think they also have some special events for the winter time. I would say definitely worth a visit if in the area. And pay 330 yen to the top of the platform because you can’t see the art from the...
