天文年間、この辺りの豪族であった小池氏が築城されたとされる。 織田信長の家臣、美濃金山城主、森長可に仕えてましたが天正10年1582年本能寺の変が勃発し織田信長が討たれた後、東美濃の豪族等はこぞって織田家から離反、森長可に鎮圧された後、小池氏は帰農しました。 小牧長久手の戦いの際に森氏が改修し利用しました。 現在は小ぶりながら曲輪跡、堀切、土塁など綺麗に残ってました。 後は喰い違い虎口、横堀など複雑な構造を備えた小ぶりながらもしっかりとしたお城であった事が窺われます。 駐車場は画像にも載せてますが今城登城口の手前に今老人憩いの家の敷地内に止めさせてもらいました。

かねてから訪れたかった今城跡に、やっとこれました！ 他の方たちのレビューにもあったように、今城跡と示されているのでスムーズにこれました。 小池家継が築城したようですが、本能寺の変の後、森長可に明け渡し、帰農したようです… そして、小牧長久手の戦いの折に、森長可に改修されたようで、小さいながら、戦国時代にふさわしい城跡？！砦？！です。 マニアでなくてもわかりやすいつくりになってますのです、ぜひ訪れてみてください🏯

The Ima castle ruins have been well cared for (paths roped and maintained, grass cut) but there is little remaining except for mounds where the castle stood near 500 years ago.

Parking is a few hundred metres away at a small community centre (which has a toilet). A guide map is there, follow the flags to the entrance.

A lot of informational signage is found around the grounds (in Japanese) and a pamphlet is...

今城跡 城郭は規模も小さくコンパクトで短時間で見学が可能でおすすめです。 曲輪や土塁、堀切などの遺構は整備されており、虎口の構造など解説された案内板も設置されています。 【歴史】 天文年間(1532年-1555年)にこの地域の豪族であった小池家継が築城。 天正10年(1582年)本能寺の変が起こると森長可に従っていた東濃諸国の武将が反抗したが鎮圧されます。その後、森長可の立ち退き命令により廃城となりました。 【アクセス】 駐車場は今公民館が利用でき、徒歩数分で城跡です。 #お城 #城 #城巡り #城跡 #岐阜県...
