Very nice beach, with nets to protect swimmers from jellyfish. There are showers ( at a symbolic price of 100¥) and small stalls selling anything from swimming trunks ( I got one there, as I forgot mine in the hotel) to bento boxes, shaved ice cones and drinks. A store rent sport equipment, such as SUPs. There are few speakers across the beach that softly broadcast Okinawan and Hawaiian style music. This beach seems extremely popular amongst families with small children, because of the...

Pretty public beach easily accessible from Ishigaki Seaside Hotel. I believe there is also public parking nearby (not from the hotel).

Fair warning it's not very sandy except at low tide. At high tide it's really shelly/rocky and you've gotta watch out for coral and larger hermit crabs. But at low tide you can walk out pretty far and find some starfish, crabs, and small fish...

I would call this “hermit crab paradise”. Literally hundreds of scuttering hermit crabs, really fun for time lapse videos and having them break sticks with their claws....

Sand is amazing, also a cool little park for kids to play at. Older lady charges 100 yen for using the shower, not too bad. I recommend bringing your own food and drinks since there is almost no...
