Nihonmatsu-ji Temple — Attraction in Itako

We paid visit to the temple by the way home to Chiba , Ajisai have been blooming beautiful by the rice fields and all the way to temple. After seeing flowers we got to the temple but only looking from outside. We wished they opened for people like us whole are pilgrims many available temples to pray and to visit our Buddha's. 2025.06.23 平日 ９時半頃 茨城県潮来市にある あじさいの名所へ訪問しました。 駐車場は広く無料です。二本松寺のあじさいの杜（もり）では 入山参拝券（境内施設整備金）を受付にて支払います。大人400円・中学生以下は無料。この料金は あじさいの維持管理に充てられる費用になるそうです。あじさいの杜入口から 二本松寺まで 田んぼ道や石畳を 歩いて向かいますが 入口からあじさいが植えらており ずっと あじさいを眺めながら 進めます！ 40000平方メートルの境内に100種類10000株のあじさい。水戸光圀公ゆかりのお寺で 赤やピンクのあじさいが多く 種類も新種のあじさいが多いので 楽しめます！また はがきの木は 葉の裏に文字が書けたり かわいいお地蔵さんや水戸光圀公お手植えの槇 記念樹・あじさいまつり期間限定御朱印(300円)はあじさいが描かれており人気です・手毬あじさい 可愛かったです・手水舎にあじさいを浮かべる「花手水」は とても綺麗で写真映えスポット とても魅力的な場所です！ 更に あじさいの杜をぬけて 本堂まで進むと「本尊薬師如来」にお参りが出来ます。仏のお医者様と呼ばれており 様々な病気を治す仏様としても知られておりますので 本尊様に健康を祈願して 心身ともに癒されてください。 お休み処では ドリンクやきなこ餅(200円)・あんこ餅(250円)・お土産に かりんとう饅頭(4個入500円)・朝取れ野菜などリーズナブルに購入できます。 「あじさいの杜」は ご住職の奥様が身内のご供養のためにあじさいを植えはじめたのがきっかけで 長年 夫妻が丹精込めて育て 平成26年8月に10,000株の目標を達成したそうです！(素晴らしい)
