A beautiful seaside view of the southernmost gusuku in Okinawa. There is a very small parking area and the walk is about 50 yards to the view. There are some rocky portions, so I recommend closed toe shoes. There are also a ton of bugs so bug spray is a good idea. We stopped to explore here after the Ryukyu glass village. Worth the 8 minute drive down the road for a quick view.

Read moreThis site is the beautiful remains of a seaside castle. The upper level on top of the cliff is marked with numerous signs in Japanese and offers an expansive ocean view. You can climb down the cliff and see the lower part of the castle wall and walk into the blowhole at low tide. There is no fee to walk around, and there are a few parking spaces out front.
