Okay.... Visited 7 March 2024 Free admission and free parking. There are 3 levels of parking, the upper level is closest to the waterfall. The area around the waterfall is very small. There's also trails that can be hiked if you have time. The drive up the steep narrow road is crazy, long and dangerous. There's two different roads to the waterfall, one is ridiculous, the other is much better and safer. Google map will probably choose the worst one. There are way too many blind spots and not enough mirrors on that road. Please drive carefully. Not recommended on weekends or holidays. Best on weekdays and right before closing. On my visit the restaurants and small fishing pool were closing, so I can't comment on those. The waterfall itself is surprisingly easy to access and photograph if there isn't a crowd. It was very empty when I visited. Beautiful and relaxing view with fresh air. Will calm your spirits and take away your worries. Overall: Recommended to visit but choose your visit time wisely. Read moreA place for river fishing or should reference as waterfall fishing. You pay 3000yen for a fish rod with bait to fish max 4 fishes, you can get 1 and share fish rod within your group. There are no time limit. Note that you have to pay another 150yen per fish to ask the stall to bbq your fishes. Bbq fish is yummie. Water flow noodle Nagashi Somen is also availble here for 600yen per person. The waterfall itself is small but scenic. Overall, it is a nice place to visit....
