This was a very lovely beach, great coarse sands and clean water. There is easy access parking with maintained walkways and vending available. There is food available for purchase of you didn't bring a ice chest of goodies, no glass container allowed for obvious reasons. The area for swimming is in a man made bay that is closed off from the open sea by a giant net (to prevent jellyfish and sharks) but some smaller sea life is readily available for you to see and swim with. I found a men’s razor handle and blade floating in the water, quite a bit of garbage (part of a paper cup, styrofoam and hundreds of plastic tubes the size of the tip of my pinky and some were longer like straws). Also dead jelly fish floating in the water about the size of a Dixie drinking cup. Yes, the water is clear but what is all the plastic floating around. Is it safe and clean to swim in?
