Spent a wonderful day with some friends here at Hosui. There are outdoor tables and an upstairs indoor space where you can sit and enjoy wine and take in the scenery. It's quite a nice view. Director Sugiyama-san was very kind and we talked with him about his wines throughout the day. Absolutely wonderful wines and well-priced. There is a good range of prices as well and no disappointment even in the lower price-range. I absolutely recommend you try some of Hosui's wines! My personal favorite this time around was...

2022/8/13 訪問 【宝水ワイナリー ヴィアグレスト】北海道岩見沢市 ◆ソフトクリーム ・赤ぶどう[レンベルガー]　500円(税込) ・白ぶどう[バッカス]　500円(税込) こちらはとっても久しぶりの訪問です。 宝水ワイナリーに併設しているソフトクリーム販売のヴィアグレストさん！ 季節限定の生いちごソフトは完売してたので、大人しくぶどうソフトをそれぞれ赤と白を1つずつ。 ぶどう商品は季節によって品種か変更になります。 個人的には底にコーンフレーク入ってるのがイマイチなのと、ソースもうちょっと掛かっててもいいかなーと思う。 ぶどうの味がソフトクリームのミルク味にちょっと負けちゃってるんだよね。 下の方にソースが溜まってる感じはあるけどもうちょっとソフトクリームと一緒に楽しみたいのよね！ 宝水ワイナリー直販店では1階にワインの販売もしてますが、商売っ気はちょっと無いかな？ 大泉洋さん主演の映画『ぶどうのなみだ』のロケに使われたこともあって映画のセットもあります。 周囲は一面ブドウ畑になってます。

小樽の古い倉庫を移築したという赤屋根の建物が、緩やかな丘陵と目の前に広がるブドウ畑の風景とマッチして、とても雰囲気があるワイナリーです。映画「ぶどうのなみだ」のロケ地となったとのことで、ワイナリーの前庭に撮影に使った風車や小屋が残されていて、これがまた北海道らしさを出しています。 ２階は映画のちょっとした資料室のようになっているほか、醸造施設の見学スペースにもなっていて、木のいい香りに包まれながら見学ができます。ブドウの収穫が不足していて、余市などからブドウを調達しても６万本の醸造能力のうち３．５万本ほどしか出荷できていないとのことでした。 試飲は１階の売店スペースでできますが、自社農園のブドウを使ったワインは生産本数が少なく、残念ながら試飲できませんでした。 余市産ブドウのワインを２種類試飲できましたが、白ワインは香りと辛口の味わいがしっかりとしていて、ロゼは少し甘口でフルーティーな香りが豊かで、しっかりとしたワイン作りが感じられます。 品質の高いワインとして、お勧めできます。
