Gifu Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum — Attraction in Kakamigahara

I enjoyed my visit to the Kakamigahara Aviation Museum. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The exhibits were well maintained, showcasing a diverse range of aircraft, both military and civilian, covering the history of flight in Japan. One aspect I particularly appreciated was the bilingual presentation of information in Japanese and English, which made learning about these aircraft and their history seamless for non-native speakers. The informative displays provided fascinating insights into the evolution of aviation technology and its impact on Japan. It's really fun experience and really educated me about aircraft development in Japan.. they provide English direction and explanation so it's English speaker friendly. There is 2 floors, first floor is aircraft story, second floor is spaceship (aerospace) story. I came with a family and a child, museum provide lot of interactives games related to the story and even movie (in Japanese) that's really entertaining. 新企画棟完成記念 特別企画展「月への挑戦」を観にいきました。この展示は人類が初めて月に降り立った「アポロ計画」から50年という節目で開催されたのだと思います。そんな記念の展示に水を差すようで申し訳ありませんが、今の私は戦争や民族紛争、貧困や経済格差や環境破壊など地球上での諸問題が解決されない限り、人類は月へ行くべきではないと考えています。「夢が無い」と言われそうですが皆さんはどう思いますか？ しかし会場で紹介されていた岐阜の４つの工業高校が超小型人工衛星（キューブサット）の設計、製作、運用を行うという「ぎふハイスクールサット・プロジェクト」は素晴らしいと思います。 国内の諸問題から国民の目を逸らすためとか、単なる国威高揚のためでも無いこの様なプロジェクトには私も賛同します。 2025.３.２

特別企画展「岐阜かかみはら航空宇宙産業100年史」を観にいきました。どちらかと言えばパネル展示が中心でしたが、飛行機の部材から転用されたと思われる代用品が印象深かったです。日本は戦争に負けてGHQから航空機の製造を禁止されました。戦後の物不足の時代だったので廃棄された航空機の部材を使ってこれらの品々が作られたのでした。しかしこのような苦難の時代を耐えて乗り越えたからこそ、今日の発展があるのだと思います。これらの品々は今後も大切にしていってほしいと思います。 また記録映像「陸鷹の記録 〜飛燕出発〜...
