Kameoka Fog Terrace — Attraction in Kameoka

It’s a peaceful place for having a quiet time. The view when going there is pretty beautiful. Although there is nothing much to do here. We saw many visitors come and leave after maybe 5-10 minutes.

Completely non-commercialized. Not even a vending machine, which made me like it even more.

We visited in afternoon of a holiday, I am sure mornings are even more beautiful.

I recommend going to this place as a side project(!) not the main...

American Family Visiting

While we did not go while it was foggy, the Fog Terrace offers stunning views of Kameoka and the surrounding valleys and mountains. The road up the mountain can be narrow with sharp turns so take caution driving up.

The decking for the observation deck could use some cleanup and paint, but otherwise, it was a lovely spot at the top. Saw many cyclists and motorcycles on the way...

Sea clouds terrasse in Kameoka. You can only park 4,5 cars. I've visited 4 times, and I could see full of clouds once. It's about 10min from highway exit. If you have a chance to come over Kamioka in the sunny morning (by 9,10am) by car, you should put in the list. There are no cafe,...
