Takamine Shrine — Attraction in Kamigori

Climbing up to the shrine was one-of-a-kind experience. Since I was there by foot, I could go through the many paths through the forest. The path I choose were quite steep and certainly a challenge that got me panicking, but I did manage to push through to the top. There were toilets and refreshing tap water to rid of my tiredness when I reach to top. The shrine itself was very peaceful and had an air of sacrality to it. Like other reviews said, they were no shrine keeper and other climbers when I went. On the way down, I decided to go via the roads instead since the path was much larger and easier to navigate, though still very steep. 上郡町でも有名な神社。山の上に静に鎮座する、素戔嗚尊を主祭神とした神社です。境内は決して広くはないですが、砂利が敷き詰められ、本殿・拝殿ともに規模が大きく、見応えあります。絵馬もたくさんあり、どれも立派。参道は車でも上れますが、オススメしません。狭くて曲がりくねっていて、一応舗装はされてはいますが、崩壊箇所もいくつもあります。かなり急勾配です。対向車とすれ違ったら大変。社務所もトイレもあるので、健康のため徒歩で登拝されるのもいいかと思います。素戔嗚尊の他にも、クシ...
