Tonomine Kogen — Attraction in Kamikawa

Beautiful area with gorgeous fields of grass bordered by forest. The hike is really easy about a 6 km loop around the border. The trail is very easy to follow and in the wetter areas wooden planks are used as the path. The fields are really gorgeous and I saw it in the fall with the silver seeds sprouting from the grass. The rest area is nice and has food and toilets if you need. There are two look out stations that you can walk to and they turn out to be awesome picnic stations. The views are beautiful and like I said the hike/walk is easy and very doable even if you are out of shape. Highly recommend it. 180°大パノラマの高原⛰ 四季折々の景観が楽しめる観光地

阿蘇のように360°楽しむ高原ではなく、180°絵画のように楽しむ高原です。

映画ノルウェイの森や大河ドラマの平清盛のロケ地で使われています。

秋のススキや、春の山焼きが有名ですが、新緑の季節がとても綺麗です。

駐車場から100mほどで展望デッキにたどり着くので、わざわざ歩いたり散策したりしなくても高原の心地良い風と空気が楽しめます。

ベビーカーや車椅子の人にはオススメです。

高原を歩くには木の道が砂利道しかないので、歩ける人のほうがいいかもしれません。

【注意点】 自動販売機、食事処がありません。 ゴミ箱もありません。 テラス席はありますが雨宿りできるところはないので晴れの日に行くのがいいと思います。

お弁当を持って行って、ゴミはちゃんと持ち帰ることをオススメします。

蕎麦屋さんがあるのですが、冬は休んでます。2021年の6月現在でも閉店中なのでコロナの関係でしばらくオープンしないかもしれません。

【トイレ】 建物の中と、建物の裏手のトイレの2カ所あります。 建物は閉まってることが多いです。

外のトイレは建物が閉まっている日でも入れました。 外に設置してあるトイレは嫌いで、意を決して入りましたが虫もおらず綺麗にされてました。

【清潔感】 綺麗にされてます。

ゴミ箱がないからから時々ゴミが落ちてます

【コロナ対策】 空気が綺麗で密になりにくい環境かと思います。 2021年6月20日までは高原内への飲食持ち込み禁止です。 コロナの状況により変更になると思うので公式ホームページを見てから行く方がいいと思います。
