Amagoi Waterfalls — Attraction in Kamiyama

Absolutely brilliant waterfall walk. Waterfalls begin at the carpark and continue all the way along the 800m walk. The landscape and falls were spectacular. The water crystal clear. Walked at a very leisurely pace, enjoying each bend and waterfall.

Be aware that the walk is very steep and slippery in many parts. The path is paved. There is a toilet at the beginning of the walk (female squat).

This is a very nice “hike” for beginners. The path is steep and slippery when it rains but even on a hot day it’s cool and refreshing, and much of it is shaded, so I recommend it for summer, too! This waterfall is one of the beautiful tourist attraction in this town. Be careful during the walk on or beside the stones, and it is not easy to reach on the top. The area is so wonderful.
