We kind of stranded here as the camping site next to the rose garden was closed (again no update in Google maps from the owners). The nice lady from the administration advised us where we could stay for the night, as it was already getting dark and heavy rain set in. Wonderful kind people here! Thanks a lot! The rose garden is well maintained and the rose flavour soft ice cream was delicious, too. Unfortunately, du to the rain the roses in the park were not in full bloom and so we had to imagine how it could look like from those we saw in the glass houses... Beautiful! We forgot our umbrellas there and guess what? The kind lady called us two days later to tell us. Btw: Dogs are allowed...
Read moreEven though we were around the area during winter/spring and did not get to see blooms in the open areas, there were still many roses being cultivated inside the greenhouses. Some were larger than a fist and all were beautiful in their own right.
5 stars just for the sheer variety of roses in the greenhouse, so imagine what it is like when the place is in full bloom out...
