Marinepal Yobuko — Attraction in Karatsu

We had a fun time here! There’s buses that goes to Yobuko market from the Bus Station in Karatsu City however it’s best if you have a car or rent one since it’s more convenient. It’s a 30minutes drive from Karatsu Station to Yobuko Port.

We took the Zeela Boat Cruise which is the semi-submerged boat that allows the passengers to have a view of the Genkai Sea marine life underwater. The admission fee is ¥2,100 per person and it worth the price!

The boat will depart to the Genkai Sea and stop at a specific spot where the passengers can go down to the inside of the boat where there’s seats and glass window that enables you to have a view of the marine life in the sea.

They will do announcements to passengers when they’ve reached their destination for the marine viewing and also when they are departing back to the port. There are specific timing for the boat tour but usually there are changes in terms of timing so it’s better to just go there and ask them about it. The whole thing took us about 30minutes it so but it was worth it!
