Mitsumata Fureai Park — Attraction in Kasugai

It’s a cool park that is probably MUCH better when it’s not early-mid September. It was HOT then and not much was blooming. But the park IS beautiful in its own way, with a nice creek running through it and large lotus plants at Waters’s edge.

The real star has to be the wild playground equipment it has. I have NO idea what it’s supposed to be, but it looks COOL. Like something out of Studio Ghibli’s “Laputa”. Unfortunately, some of the cargo nets for climbing are closed (not sure why), but you can still climb the ramp to the top and play around on a lot of it. I think kids would like it.

And then it’s not too far a walk- on a specially reserved walkway, not a street- to either Asamiya or Ochiai parks. Kasugai seems well laid out for families...

朝宮公園から落合公園まで続いている遊歩道の途中にある公園です。 駐車場は5台ほどしか停められません。

写真のような大きな遊具があります。 公園脇の川では亀が甲羅干しをしていて、 息子が見つけて喜んでみていました（笑）

今はハスの花が見頃です。 近くでみると大人の背丈よりも高く伸びていて、大きな花を咲かせる様は圧巻… 祖父が8月お盆まで毎年見られる...
