敷地の規模や石垣、建築物の大きさや数を目の当たりにするとこの地域に深く根強いた古刹である事が分かります

【その他参考情報】 入山料&駐車場代 500円/人 必要です。 入り口の料金ゲートの所から徒歩で登山道を登る事も出来るようで、この場合はお金はかからずに済むとのこと

以下、日本遺産のHPより引用 "閻魔大王に選ばれた、観音菩薩をまつる33の寺院を西国三十三所といいます。 2府5県（京都、大阪、和歌山、奈良、兵庫、滋賀、岐阜）に広がる日本最古の巡礼として知られ、令和元年（2019）5月に日本遺産に認定されました。" Weekday, August 2024 This is a temple on the Saigoku 33 Kannon Pilgrimage, which is also registered as a Japan Heritage site.

When you see the scale of the grounds, the stone walls, and the size and number of buildings, you can truly sense that this is an ancient temple deeply rooted in the region.

The grounds are well-maintained, making for a pleasant stroll.

The best season to visit is likely during the fall when the autumn leaves are in full color, making it an ideal time to take beautiful photos of the temple and the foliage.

[Additional Information] An entrance fee and parking fee of 500 yen per person is required. It seems that from the fee gate at the entrance, you can also hike up the trail on foot, in which case, you don’t need to pay.

There is entrance fee for 500 yen per persons but it’s worth for it because the autumn leaves there is very beautiful. 宗派が天台宗。 創建は1800年前の古墳時代（法道仙人による伝承。このあたりの寺は法道仙人による伝承を開基とされる事が多いです）。 西国三十三箇所第二十五番札所。 同じ西国三十三箇所の中に同名の「清水寺」が有る為、こちらは「播州清水寺」にされたとの事。 建物自体は何れも大正時代以降の建物で比較的新しいですが、国の登録有形文化財となっており、これはこれで何れも見応えが有ります。

特にこちらも歴史的には新しい物なのですが、「薬師堂」に有る薮内佐斗司氏作の「十二神将」と言う作品が飾られており（薮内佐斗司氏と言えば「せんと君」が有名）とても素敵な作品を拝見させて頂きました（これだけでも来た甲斐があったなぁと思いました）。

また、その他にも仕掛けがして有り、本堂の階下には「引退ポスト」なるポストも設置して有ります。

御朱印も通常の御朱印の他に切り絵で出来た御朱印も有り、中々のデザインだと思いました。
