The poolside was very unclean in the shallow area. However, it was very easy to get an admission ticket and enter the waterpark. The prices were reasonable and the staff were polite. The lockers were also very easy to access and cheap. We could not find any changing rooms (I don't think there were any) and getting on the bus home from the nearby bus stop was a nightmare. The queue at the bus stop was an estimation of 70 to 80 people in front of us and there were many more people in the queue behind us. We were lucky enough to get on the second bus which came (because the first bus had filled up) but it would be nicer if there were more buses when most people left the water park (which closes at 5pm and that's when the bus stop gets very busy). There was an orderly queue as the people in Japan respect each other, and everybody stood in the queue in single file (that's not what it's like in England!). The slides were great and actually really scary. On one of the basic slides (the ones with the shortest queues which don't have any turns) I felt like I was sliding at 80mph (I am being serious - if you don't believe me then go on one of these slides for yourself). I wish I had gone with a friend as I only went with my mother because it would have been a hilarious experience! There were several pools to make the park more interesting, including a deeper pool with a diving board, an umbrella-shaped fountain, a circuit which takes you round automatically, a normal 8-lane pool, and a wave-powered pool.
This is probably the longest review I've ever written so I'd be surprised if anyone was to actually read all...
Read moreLarge sprawling park with multiple pools, tennis courts, soccer field, futsal area, running track, roadway for pedestrians and bicycles, as well as lots of open fields for children and families to relax or play. A large pond has boat rentals available, and there's a children's playground, not far from the pond. Barbeque area is near the pond as well. Some vending available, but during the fall, winter and spring months, when the pool is closed, it's best to bring your own snacks/meals. There is a 7/11 convience store, not far from the park entrance. Entry is free, except for the pools or...
Read moreA good place to spend your summer. The price might be a bit high in my opinion (¥720 for adults) but it delivers several different types of pools. There are no dedicated showers to shower in after you're done but there are outdoor showers to wash yourself. The place unfortunately lacks natural shades (i.e. trees) so be generous with your sunscreen and do yourself a favor and bring a pair of sandals if you're visiting during sunny days since the ground is mostly paved and it gets really hot during...
