The Train and Bus Museum, located in Yokohama, Japan, is a fascinating museum dedicated to the history and development of railways and buses in Japan.

Pros:

Interactive Exhibits: Features hands-on displays and simulators that allow visitors to experience operating trains and buses. Extensive Collection: Showcases a wide range of historical and modern trains and buses, with detailed exhibits on their evolution. Educational Value: Provides in-depth information on the history, technology, and impact of public transportation in Japan. Cons:

Limited Focus: Primarily focuses on Japanese trains and buses, which might be less interesting for visitors unfamiliar with or uninterested in this aspect of transportation history. Crowded on Weekends: The museum can get quite busy, especially on weekends and holidays. Summary: The Train and Bus Museum is an excellent destination for transportation enthusiasts and families. Its interactive displays and comprehensive collection offer an engaging and educational experience about the history of public...

This place is AMAZING. I'm a 44 year old man and I felt like a kid at Disneyland all day. If you can go on a weekday afternoon like we did, it's almost empty and you can spend as much time as you want on the multiple train and bus simulators. They even have one that let's you drive a model train with a camera on the front.

There's one simulator that costs 300 yen (which is totally worth it) but for the price of 200 yen for admission, it's an incredible value. I can't recommend this museum more for anyone who has any interest in trains. The staff are also all very helpful and friendly. I can't...

Very small museum in the neighbourhood which costs only 200yen for adults. If you need to do the train simulation then you should do the reservation priorly. The entrance is only one now and it is at the side of the station gate, if you don’t know please refer the pics that are uploaded. This is really good for kids and adults who wanna know how the pass transports were like. You could run the miniature train by paying 200yen or free also available. At the basement you could check the old trains and buses with few inbuilt operations. It was fun, it...

This is a must to visit! I recommend to all of you to come. It was a small museum with cheap price ticket just ¥200. There are a lot of real bus and trains which your kids can try to drive it by simulator and it FREE! Also there is a real train that the engine is working while you drive also you can try to open and close the door yourself. We spend half day here. However, there is only in Japanese language so you may need Google translate to help you. But that not a big deal.
