Utopia Saioto — Attraction in KIta Hiroshima

I travelled to the resort on a public holiday using a Hiroko tour bus from Hiroshima and the resort is not crowded at all. The roads to the resort is pretty wild because of heavy snowfall but props to our tour bus driver. The bus ticket also has 1000yen discount on rentals but only if your reserve in advance via fax. Rentals is a breeze as the resort has adequate facility to accomodate a lot of guests. Lockers are plenty and the restaurant has a lot of seating. It was a public holiday when I went but there is barely any lift queues. The snow quality is excellent and most runs are wide with enough space for everyone. One thing to note is they dont have RFID passes so you should have a way of displaying the pass or take it out everytime you ride the lift. One thing I loved is they have a park with jumps that are good practice for begginers and it is just running along side the Center course. If ever I will be skiing in Hiroshima area, this resort will always be my first choice. One con I would say though is that even though the rentals are cheap, the equipment just feel old. Nice place, good slopes and plenty of parking. There are two ways to reach the resort from Hiroshima-city. The one provided by my Google Maps and the van's navigation system is a narrow road that is rarely plowed, steep with plenty of switch backs. Unless you have a large vehicle designed for snow and rough terrain (not just snow tires or good chains), take the long way around. It takes you about 16km out of the way, but much more easy...

カーナビ注意！

2022/5月に訪問 遠出はいつもカーナビ任せ、、、そんな私のような人は大変なことになります(ﾟoﾟ;;

カーナビで案内されたのは地元の人も通らない、軽自動車もギリギリなのに一方通行でもない、舗装されてない山道、、、。

天気が良く、対向車もなく、本当によかった、、(u_u)

子供たちにも大変怖い思いをさせたと反省、、。

後からサイオトさんのHPを見るとアクセスの所にしっかり注意書きがあります。

午前　バギー 午後　ジップライン

ワイルドコース 中3の長女は少し小さいバギーを恐る恐る運転しながらも楽しんでました。 小3の次女は、私と2人乗り。

次回はもう少し上までいける天空コースを行きたいと思いましたが、娘たちはワイルドコースで十分と言ってました。女の子だからかな？

スタッフの方もとても丁寧で写真や動画を撮ってくださるので助かりました。もちろん自分でも撮れます。

レストランはなく、お菓子が若干受付にある程度。 事前に聞いていたのでお昼は持参しました。

屋外に綺麗なベンチや、屋内でもテーブルがあるので持参でも楽しめます。

施設も綺麗

意外だったのが、自動販売機があった事。ビールまでありました。 値段、、見てないけど、、、。

空き時間は、無料の結構長いターザンや、ボール、フラフープなどで遊べます。

ジップライン 廿日市のフォレストアドベンチャーとは違い、ジップラインがメインで楽しめます。

身長120センチ体重25キロどちらもクリアしないと参加出来ません。下の子はギリギリでしたw

約120分間 最初の3本はかなりの傾斜を山登りしながら進むので、正直しんどいです。体力に少しでも不安がある方はやめた方が良いです。w

スタッフの方が色々な滑り方を提案して盛り上げてくれます。

子供達は大満足していました。
