昨年2023年5月10日（水）に撮影。裏磐梯観光ホームページ：磐梯山の噴火により、美しい五色沼をはじめ数多くの湖沼が作られました。中でも一番大きく、美しい島々が浮かぶ桧原湖。裏磐梯最大の湖で湖岸周約31km、最大水深31ｍ。桜、新緑、紅葉、雪景色と常に最高の景色を見せてくれます。グリーンシーズンは湖畔道路をドライブするだけでも楽しめ、特に新緑の5月中旬～6月は最高の季節。モーターボートや観光船も運航されており、湖上から磐梯山を眺めることも。冬には湖面が結氷し、氷上を歩くことができます。ワカサギ釣りのカラフルなテントが並ぶ景色は、裏磐梯の冬の風物詩。

2022年10月の釣行。当日は非常に荒天で、釣りをするには少し厳しい条件であった。せっかくの紅葉も、少しの晴れ間のみに堪能できる程度だった。 肝心の釣果はというと、虚しく1匹。事前情報では、ワカサギがメインベイトになっているという話だったが、全くそのそぶりはなく、釣れたのはフリックシェイク3.8のダウンショットだった。 また、前日にJBTOP50が開催されていた事、また当日もかなりの数のバスボートが出ていた事も、ハイプレッシャーを助長していたと思う。 他のボートを見ていると、シャッドキャロとかが釣れていた。

檜原湖 裏磐梯 2022/07/29 裏磐梯の辺りに五色沼湖沼群と池や沼が点在している地域があるのだけど、今の時期は樹木が生い茂っていて、見るのがなかなか難しい。 池や沼の近くまで近づけそうな場所は私有地になっていて、釣り場やボート乗り場で利用者しか入る事を禁じている。 近づきにくい場所は樹木の葉が生い茂っていて、湖面が見えにくい。 既に蜻蛉が飛んでいた。 写真は檜原湖。 湖の奥に見えるのは磐梯山。
