8月27日おくとろ公園キャンプ場でキャンプしました。予約は受け付けず、先着順と言うことで、和歌山市を8時ごろに出発して、途中買い物して、現地に着いたのは11時過ぎでした。金曜日だったので人は少なく、他はソロの男性1人だけでした。広く使えたので、ゆったりと設営出来ました。涼しいと思って来たのですが、思いのほか暑くてびっくりしました。昼間は32度ありますが夜は22度まで下がって、ハンモックで寝てたら寒くて無理でした。そのあとはテントで寝袋に入って寝ました。トイレもウォシュレット付きできれいで良かったです。温泉もあるのでスッキリしました。次の日に片付けてから、筏下りして昼から帰りました。とても充実した1日でした。

一度訪れたいと思っていた飛び地「北山村」にやってきました。飛び地だからといって、なにか見た目でわかりやすい何かがあるわけでもないのですが、とりあえずおくとろ公園で買い物＆お風呂でもしようかと楽しみにしていたのですが、あいにく休業の看板が・・・木曜は休みなんですかね。仕方ないので買い物だけでもと思って、売店に行くとコンビニよりひと回り小さな売り場に、お土産と日用品が半々くらいで売ってました。きっと観光客だけでなく、近隣の村民の方にとっても重要な商店何でしょうね。テニスコート、野球場、キャンプ場、トイレ、お風呂、お店が一箇所に集まっているので便利といえば便利かなー

天理から御浜に抜ける道中に訪れました。ちょうど17時のチャイムが鳴る頃でした。360度山と川に囲まれてるシーンとした場所で、空のグラデーションの中で時折とんびが鳴いていました。ふだんの生活空間とは全然違う空気感に幻想的なものを感じました。おすすめはこのじゃばら飴。少し苦みがありますが、だんだん癖になってきます。じゃばらは邪を払うという意味だそうです。また筏の頃に訪れたい場所です。
