Oita Agricultural Park — Attraction in Kitsuki

One of my favorite places in Oita! Highly recommend it if you like walks around big bodies of water. I think it's about 4km around. Depends on the path you take. There are 3 playgrounds but only 2 are worth mentioning. Both are fun for the children. There is a nice path around the lake BUT for some odd reason they do not allow bikes everywhere on the path. Some places you can bike. Some you can't. And they rent bikes here! Strange. You cannot swim here but they have some of those duck/swan boats you can rent. Lots of people fishing here. If it's too hot or too cold outside you can head to the indoor botanical garden or indoor children's play area. Some tables for parents/adults to relax at. They have a small fast food restaurant inside but choices are limited. Lots of free parking outside. Bring a shade tent if you plan to visit during the summer. Most seating areas are...

There is peach picking. To know the specific date, you need to check info in their website. For each person only can pick 2 pieces with cost 500¥ on the day that we go. For me its cheap. but let say if you family consist of 5 person..only can pick 8 pieces maximum..

4.0点 池の周りにある森林公園の中にあるキャンプ場。Googleマップのナビで行くと、公園のメインとなる入場口前を通る道を案内されるが、そこからは一般車は通行止めでキャンプ場まで行き着かない。一本手前の道から入る。この公園はかなり大きく一周5kmはあるのではないだろうか。レンタサイクルもある。ヤギやウサギのいるふれあい動物園もある。キャンプ場は池には面しておらず、雰囲気は林間キャンプ場。落葉樹が多く紅葉が綺麗だった。キャンプ場内は木々が美しいが、池や山々は見えず、必ずしも眺望は良くない。 フリーサイトは以前グラウンドだった場所で、オートサイトから入り、グラウンドの右手に駐車用の番号札が立てられている。 オートサイトは植栽で区切られており、2区画毎に電源ポールがある。案内では1区画1コンセント500Wとなっているが、電源にはコンセント2つで1500Wまでと記載されていた。ほとんどの区画は芝生が無くなっていた。欅などの木が各区画に1本は植えてあり、木の根がサイトの表面に出てきている（あるいは表面の土が流されて出てきたのか）ところが多かった。区画により形、広さ、傾斜の度合いが異なっている。三角形の区画もあり、先ほどの木の根もあるため、テントが張りにくい場所もあると思われた。 入り口にはゲートがあり、専用のコインを入れるとチェーンが降りる仕組みで、夜間は警備員が常駐しておりセキュリティに配慮されている。炊事棟やトイレ、シャワー室は綺麗に清掃されている。ウォシュレットは無い（ウォシュレットが一つでもあるとポイントが高い）。炊事場は温水は出ない。シャワー室の脱衣スペースには脱衣かごがあるのは便利が良い。何故かはわからないが、脱いだ服を置く場所がないシャワー室が多いものだ。7分100円でシャワーを止めるとカウントされない。ただお湯が出始めるのに2〜3分はかかった。また、湯温は調節できるが水量は調節できない。ホームページではゴミは持ち帰りと記載されていたと思うが、実際には無料で引き取ってくれた。 夜間にテントの付近でガサゴソと音がするのでなにかの動物かなと思っていたら、朝起きたらゴミ袋に引っ掻いた裂き傷があり、ゴミが少し散乱していた。ちなみにゴミ袋はツールームテント内にあったため、テント下の隙間から入ってきたのだろう。野良猫だったのかな。昼間は見当たらず。 高規格とまではいかないがよく管理されており、子供の遊具も多く、家族連れも安心して過...
