Ya Sea Park — Attraction in Konan

Perfect place to relax and play. Field for playing ball, nicely cut grass, place for running, wide beach with soft sand and some rounded rocks, easy to walk on. Roofs to hide from the sun, outlets to charge cellphone, palm trees wide enough to give you shade. Speaker with the music playing, not too loud, just enough to get listen or get little away and not to hear it at all. Indian food, road station Michi no eki with a lot of good stuff to eat&drink. 地元民ではもともと海水浴場として知られた場所でした。そこに道の駅ができて、ローカル線の駅ができて、バーベキュー場が整えられて、イベント広場みたいな感じになって、きれいな公園スポットと化して今に至っています。蒼く広がる海と青く抜ける空を背景にヤシの木がそそり立つ風景は印象的で、南国高知のイメージを満喫できます。 海岸線に沿ってウッドデッキの道が作られていて、砂浜に下りなくても浜辺を歩くことがあできるようになっています。目の前の海は足元から水平線まで邪魔するもののない「吸い込まれるような太平洋」とはいかず、あくまで海水浴場なので左右からの防波堤に囲まれていますが、景色としては十分でした。 津波避難タワーも、日常的には展望タワーとして許容できる範囲のデザインで、緊張感を出すことなくうまく施設に溶け込んでいます。 ヤ・シィパークになって随分経ちますが、全体的には比較的綺麗に保たれていると思います。ただ、付属する店舗はちょっと苦戦しているように見受けられますが、道の駅の産直品売場やインドカレーのお...
