A nice place to visit in Yamanashi prefecture. Yamanashi is being famous for great Japanese wine in Japan. This winery has a nice view with amazing local wine: the wine testing (3 wines) was only ¥500! as of 2022/07. I will definitely try to visit here again when I’m close by.

A stunning view. Totally natural, yet clean and "minimal" wines based on their clear policy/philosophy. Really kind and generous people. What else? Just 10min via Taxi from JR Enzan station, so you had better use public transportation if possible, ask them anything and just enjoy their wines, views and great vibes. Also, if you're lucky, a cute sales manager🐶 will wait for you! 塩山福生里に新しくオープンされたワイナリー。長年のご経験にもとづく明確なお考えによって作り/育てられるワインを、目の醒めるような景色の中で頂く事ができます。そして何よりも親切なワイナリーの皆さん、そして来訪した方々と交流できるオープンなスペース等、オーナーさんの考えが隅々まで行き届いている事を感じられます。ワインを頂きに行くのは勿論ですが、そこに行くこと自体を目的にしたくなる、素晴らしいワイナリー。また伺います。

ワイナリー訪問は、数多くはないが、米・Napa Valleyの Joseph Phelps Vineyards、豪・Swan ValleyのOlive Farm Wines隣The Cheese Barrel(残念ながら閉業TT)、新潟のCAVE D'OCCI と、こちらの98 Winesのどれをベスト3に残すか迷うほどの、『居心地の良さ』。 Cafe スペースで、とんでもなく甘い桃&ブラッターチーズ、OTTOは、これまた尋常じゃなく美味しいブルーチーズのケーキを食しながら、ここで（運転のため）ワインが飲めないなんて!!! ワインについてはまだまだ勉強不足なので、詳しく表現するのは難しいが、お勧めされたSOU霜のロゼは、雑味がなくあっさりしていて、甲州ワインビーフの赤身のお肉と合わせ、美味しく楽しく頂きました。ボトルはもちろん、ワイナリーの建物&環境、コンセプト及びHP、徹底したこだわりと雰囲気の全てが素晴らしく、ぜひ何度も訪れたい場所。ビール好きとしては、森の中の98BEERsの完成も待ち遠しい。はぁ、建物と環境と空間と美味しいお酒（と食べ物）。贅沢贅沢。幸福幸福。
