2021年4月3日に、花見がてらのハイキングで立ち寄りました。 桜は満開を過ぎ、はらはらと花びらが舞い落ちていました。 周辺にはハイキングコースが整備されており、車でのアプローチの起点には便利です。 今回は、西コースから雨山城跡へ進路を取り、２時間強の行程でした。 山ツツジがきれいに咲いていました。

春はダムの周囲に咲くソメイヨシノが綺麗です。花見をする人が多く見られます。秋も紅葉で賑わいます。このエリアにはハイキングコースや子供が遊べる場所や墓苑、スケートボードの練習場など、老若男女が多彩な楽しみ方ができるところです。駐車場は最初の30分は無料です。

桜まつりのころは、駐車場が長蛇の列でかなり待たないといけないし、駐車場料金がいつもより特別価格で高い^_^; のんびりできるいいところだけど、長時間並んでまで行かなくてもよいかなと思った。
