🌿 Feature: Coral rocks covered with plants, forming small “islands”

🏝️ Vibe: Hidden, peaceful, and remote

⛺ Activity: Local camping, very few tourists

📍 Location: Northern Okinawa secluded beach

Beach of Sosu (楚洲の砂浜) is a remote and lesser-known beach in northern Okinawa, often considered a hidden gem. What makes it truly unique are the large coral rocks standing in the shallow waters, many of which are covered with vegetation and small trees, resembling tiny floating islands.

Was completely empty except for a lady and her dog plus us. Toilets are over the road and small parking is a few meters from a break water where you can walk down onto the beach. This is a little uneven so care is needed. The is no food or drink or cafe here bring your own is my advice. The beach is mostly shingle and coral stones. It was a nice break from our journey and very gorgeous to look at Sadly too cold to swim and not sure if Jelly fish are in the area now. Some amazing pieces of coral and we also found a large shell which we thought...

A remote beach with no tourists, other than the ocassional camper or visitor, passing through, it's sort of run down but, enjoyable for those who wish to get-away-from-it-all. Interesting rock formations, make it an ideal spot for photography. Camping is free but please, remove any trash brought along or, left by others. It's a nature...
