2022.08.06（土曜日） 45年ぶりの江田島は第一術科学校見学を予約していて、呉市内を自身が運転する車で走るのも初めてで、岡山方面から一路江田島方面に。ＪＭＵ（ｼﾞｬﾊﾟﾝ・ﾏﾘﾝ・ﾕﾅｲﾃｯﾄﾞ）の造船ドッグを過ぎ、少し走ると右手海沿いに多くの護衛艦の雄姿。そして左手、道路の先にはレンガ造りの倉庫群。その手前左手に有るセブンイレブンのコンビニの前あたりから右側の海の視界が僅かに広がるのですが、ふと呉浦沖に続く桟橋に目をやりびっくり‼。特に厳重な警備をされている様子もない桟橋と、その場所に停泊し錨を下しているのは、何とその錨すら重要機密と云われている”潜水艦”。車を運転中ながらも危険承知の上で思わず二度見をしてしまいました。その場は第一術科学校見学の時間を優先し、帰路再度立ち寄ることに...。先ずは車停めてと思ったものの駐車場を見つける事ができず、潜水艦の見えるセブンイレブンに立ち寄り買い物。比較的交通量の多い道路を車に注意しながら横断、目の前に桟橋の浮かぶ海と道路との間に設けられた歩道を広めた様な公園の施設に入り、コンビニさんに迷惑を掛けない様な時間にて、比喩として言葉は悪いが、本当に石でも投げれば届くのでは...。と思うほどの近い場所から、潜水艦や護衛艦を眺め写真も撮らせて頂きました。後になって分かったのですが、この公園が海上自衛隊第1潜水隊群司令部の直ぐ傍にある、日本で唯一間近で潜水艦を見ることができる公園である『 アレイからすこじま 』だった様です。公園の反対側、道路を挟んだ向かいの煉瓦造りの建物も見事な景観。又駐車場も無料駐車場...
