生地の浜は富山湾がキレイに見渡せる場所としても有名で、のんびり散歩するにはとても気持ちが良いです。ちょうど昼どき、ハンバーガーチェーン店を発見！？と、思いきや‥アート作品でした。８Km離れた魚津市から望遠カメラで24時間ライブ配信していて、蜃気楼のときは「∞」の文字に見えるそうです。ちなみに、魚津市から直接見てみましたが‥ちょっと分かりませんでした。いずれにしても、完成形の作品を見るのはなかなか難しいようです。

日没の時間に何気なく立ち寄ったら、能登半島をバックに夕日が美しかったです。 後でこの地域を調べたら「富山湾が一番美しく見える街」としてPRしているそうです。 ただGWでも地域の方が散歩をしているぐらいで、夕日を眺めているのは私ぐらいでした。階段上の護岸も落ち着いて腰を下ろせる場所となっていて、夕日絶景の穴場です。

日本の夕日百選に選ばれている場所の1つです。ちょうどこのあたりが富山湾の沿岸部で最も西～南西に向かって海に面しているので夕日が海越しによく見えるのだろう。普段は釣り人しかほぼいない静かな海岸です。路肩が広いので路駐はし放題ですよ。
