Great place to ski or snowboard (or anything in between- I've even seen a skibike)! I've been coming annually since 2016 and have loved it since.

The powder is truly some of the best in the world here. I have never experienced anything better anywhere else; powder in other places can comparatively be called icy compared to what falls on Niseko. It is so light and fluffy, plus during the season, snowfall is very regular so after a trail gets a bit packed by the end of the day, by the next morning, it is fresh and ready to go. But because of this, most days (in my experience) don't have as great of visibility due to the constant snowfall and clouds passing over the mountain in addition to fast winds. There is a whole range of routes to go on so this mountain is truly great for all levels of experience.

There are 4 parts to the mountain: Annupuri, Niseko Village, Hirafu and Hanazono. Each have their perks but I'd recommend a stay in a resort by Hirafu if you would like to go night skiing. There are also many ski schools you can book- some give priority access to certain chairlift queues depending on which part of the mountain you are on. Food on the slopes is also good- do check out Boyo-so (I also have a review on this one)! Hot chocolate from the Hana 1 Cafe is also great and meals generally are quite tasty (it is good Japanese food after all)!

Lift operator staff are friendly and helpful, lines to lifts, though can be long, move fairly quickly.

There are also very many resorts to choose from as well as convenient stores and restaurants nearby so you can buy what you need with little...

Mt. Niseko-Annupuri is a must-see destination for nature lovers and winter sports enthusiasts alike. The mountain offers stunning panoramic views that are especially mesmerizing during winter when the landscape is covered in a blanket of snow. The beauty of the surrounding peaks and valleys is unparalleled, making it a prime spot for outdoor exploration and photography.

For those not eager to hike to the top, the gondola offers a convenient ride that takes you a quarter of the way up the mountain. This makes it easier for visitors to access the ski area, which becomes a bustling hub of activity during the winter season. The ski slopes are perfect for both beginners and seasoned skiers, providing a fun and thrilling experience.

Whether you’re here for skiing, snowboarding, or simply to take in the breathtaking views, Mt. Niseko-Annupuri offers an unforgettable experience for...

My first time to Niseko. Absolutely loved the place. I tried all 4 resorts over a 3-day period. There's a wide variety of courses which are well maintained. There's also off course options for the more adventurous ones. The resorts are connected at the top unless the weather is really bad and the top lifts are not operating. The scenery is amazing with a view...
