道の駅『京丹波　味夢の里』のすぐ隣にある「塩谷古墳（しおたにこふん）公園」

５～６世紀前半に継続的に築造されたと推測される直径８ｍから最大１５．５ｍの１２基の古墳から成り立つ古墳群を整備してできた公園です。

平成元年８月に、一番大きな５号古墳から全国でも貴重な巫女型埴輪が２体発堀され、その２体の埴輪は京都府の文化財に指定されています。
