Shiroshima Park & Mishima Shrine 城島公園・三嶋神社
Shiroshima is located in the west along the coast of Tateiwa Rock. Shiroshima stands for " castle island ". Just as the name suggests there once was a castle belonged to a lord of Tango ( Arai Clan ) up on this island. The entire island is a park area for visitores to go up and down to enjoy the great scenic view around the island. Up on the top is a pond enshrining a deity of Benzaiten in its central part.
