We lived close by to Moon Beach Resort for a couple of months this summer, and found it while walking along the ocean one evening. While we didn't actually camp here, we did use the swimming pool and golf course a LOT! The pool is not heated (that's a good thing in Japan in the summer!) and very clean. The camp ground is very inviting with clean, well laid out camp sites. This place is busy during Japanese holidays, so plan accordingly. The golf course, while short and only 9 holes, is in really good shape! A great place to practice your short game, for only about 1000 yen! We intend to come back here for many years to come - the staff (owner operators) are extremely friendly and will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need. They have meats for BBQ and ice cream for sale in the little store, along with camping supplies rentals if needed. If you are in the area and have the time, plan a night or two of camping...

It does get crowded, so it’s more of a “lively, family” camping atmosphere rather than a “lost in nature” kind of vibe. Would recommend, especially for families with small kids.
