2300本の様々な種類の桜が植えられている公園です。三春ダム左岸にあります。

公園内の道路にも沢山の桜があり、特に狐田方面の南側入り口は満開になると桜のトンネルが現れます。美しい景観の穴場的名所です。

駐車場脇から遊歩道を通り公園内へ登っていくと数多くの桜が迎えてくれます。さほど混むわけでもなくのんびりできました。種類により咲く時期が異なり長く楽しめるそうです。

さくらの公園の公園をスタートします。 公園は桜が結構咲いていました。 三春町内には、約10,000本の桜の木がありますが、そのうちの約2,300本の桜が、このさくらの公園に植栽されています。その種類は22種類で、まず、寒緋桜が冬に花を開き、続いて河津桜、４月中旬からは染井吉野、そして、４月下旬から５月にかけては八重桜、山桜が花開き、秋には十月桜も花を咲かせます。

R6/4/14 滝桜の帰りに寄りました。 8分咲きと言ったところ。 昨年は4/2に寄ったところ、全く咲いてなかったので、今回は咲いててよかったです。 朝7:00頃だったので誰もいませんでしたが、お花見にいいですね。桜もいくつかの品種が咲いているようで、色や花の形も楽しめます。 桜が散る頃に来たいところです。とても綺麗な桜吹雪が見られるのではないでしょうか。
