屏風岩は、川や海沿いにそびえる垂直の岩壁が迫力ある景観を作り出しています。柱状節理の美しい地質構造は地形好きには一定の見どころで、遊歩道からもその雄大な岩肌を間近に感じられました。ただし、観光スポットとしての魅力には少し物足りなさがあります。 展望所は国道沿いにひっそりと設けられており、案内表示が小さいため見つけにくく、通り過ぎてしまいそうです。駐車スペースもありますが、基本的に車でのアクセス前提で、公共交通利用者にはやや行きづらい場所です。 訪れた季節が緑豊かな頃だったため、岩とのコントラストが弱く、写真映えは期待ほどではありませんでした。展望台からの眺めも決して悪くはないものの、広がる景色に圧倒されるほどのスケール感はなく、自然と向き合う観点では楽しめるものの、「観光名所」として...
