If you want to see one of the most amazing Temple locations take the time to go see this. My wife's family is from the same Buddhist sect my brother-in-law studied here for a year my nephew is there now 3 years and teaching and they took me out there this week...

神奈川県の天狗様がいらっしゃる寺院です。 入り口から奥の院まで700段の階段があるといわれていて、本堂から奥の院では連続の300段がかなりきつかったです。 紅葉の季節はとても綺麗で、それ目当てでいらっしゃる観光客もいっぱいます。 アクセスには、小田急線「新松田駅」から「大雄山駅」までいき、そこから大雄山最乗寺茶屋前までいけます。駅からタクシーを使うと、本堂のある上まで連れてってくれます。 バスは1時間に１−２本ですので、先に帰りにバスをチェックしてから行くのをおすすめします。 ハイキングコースもあって、ここから明神ヶ岳コースで金時山方面までいくこともできます。
