Minamiashigara Folk Museum — Attraction in Minamiashigara

This is a wonderful museum about history in the local area. In the entrance they had a few display cases full of beautiful things all made of shells from Enoshima. Also, some rocks that were covered in volcanic ash. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is, they don’t offer English pamphlets. (I live in Japan and I definitely don’t expect then to have English pamphlets, but it would’ve been nice.) ２０２１年２月　森のひなまつり　で、ひな人形の展示でした。よくある街の雛めぐりと違い、それぞれの特徴に違いなども改札され、明治大正昭和、関東関西の違いが判りなかなか興味深い物でした。現代（令和？）のモダンなひな人形もなかなか斬新で面白かったです。 初めての訪問だったので、企画展に埋め尽くされ常設展示がほんの一部だったような点は、ちょっと残念でした。 また近くに　古民家　旧福沢小学校　があるとの道標がありますが。その途中には、丸太の森の料金が必要との掲示があり、見学できなかっ...

駐車場に車を停めて、小屋にて通行手形を受け取り、急勾配の坂道を登り、資料館受付に通行手形を渡し入館料を支払い入館します。

通史での考古遺物、中世文書、民俗、金太郎にまつわる展示が常設展示です。

年数回(雛飾りなど)常設展示が見られない状態で企画展示が行われ入館料金も上がります。
