A great local skate park surrounded by nature. Family oriented with parents and kids skating together. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The skate park itself is suitable for beginners and advanced riders alike. The owner Mr. Ikkou is very helpful and is willing to give tips and advice about skateboarding. There is a cosy cafe that sells delicious food and a shop selling skateboarding goods and handmade items made from recycled skateboards. I recommend going to Sunzui for anyone of any level even if you have never tried skateboarding before. The skate park is close to the train station and bus depot and is only a short distance from the Tateyama expressway, so people from other prefectures should also make their way...
