大串貝塚ふれあい公園の中にあります。 国指定の史跡です。 フェンスの向こうに、碑が立っています。 貝塚の様子を見たいときは、貝塚の近くに貝層断面観覧施設があるので、ふれあい公園の事務所に声をかけて、見ることができます。

貝塚の地層を見られる小屋。普段は鍵が閉まっていて団体見学等で鍵を開けてもらって見るしかないようだが、小屋の外からガラス越しに見ることは可能。
