A must visit on Miyakojima and for the Ryukyu kingdom as well. Iconic views of the ocean and surrounding coral and rock features. Beautiful when calm, absolutely awe inspiring when there are gargantuan waves. The lighthouse has a small entrance fee and and a small climb up as there is no elevator but indeed the view is worth it. Parking is easy and nearby with clean toilet facilities. There are often ice cream vendor trucks. Check out a geocache just inside the walking trail and away from the ocean/rocks. Find the location of it via geocaching.com. There might even be traveling trackable items ready to move contained within.
