Hayamizu Park — Attraction in Miyakonojo

Nice place to watch flowers, depending on the season is the type of flower, Iris around late April is a very nice place yo visit. There is a small shrine inside the park, a large pond connected with river canals full of koi fish, lily pads and some other types of birds that are always good for those pothoholics. 早水公園は、都城市の市の花に指定されているアヤメが沢山植えてある公園です。この日は、生憎の雨模様でしたが、公園には、東屋が有り、雨の日も、濡れずにアヤメを鑑賞することが出来ます。しかも、池が複数有って、池が有るところには、アヤメが美しく咲き誇っていました。青紫色の高貴な花は、晴天にも見事に映えますが、雨模様の日は、雨粒が、青紫色に艶を加えて、何とも風情が有ります。アヤメの群落を愛でていると、何だか高貴な万葉の時代にタイムスリップした様な気分になりました。しかも、早水公園は、入場料無料です。是非オススメしたい...
